What should I expect from my initial appointment?
Please refer to this video for a general understanding.
During your first visit, please fill out a medical history form, if not done so online. Your therapist will then invite you to the treatment room and discuss your concerns. Along with an interview, your therapist with perform a series of tests to help assist in where the pain may be located and determine your treatment goals are met. This process should take approximately 5-10 minutes.
Upon leaving the room, we will discuss disrobing to your comfort level, draping and positioning of the client. For best results, we recommend skin-to-skin contact with consent. We will then provide information on what areas will be treated to give clear informed consent.
During the massage, please let the therapist know if anything changes such as pain level and comfort. We will always be checking in with you throughout the treatment.
*If you have skin irritation to any oils please let the therapist know.
Once the treatment is completed we will give you home-care exercises or stretches to continue your recovery.
What is the cancellation policy?
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Please try your best to contact us ahead of time by booking website, or email.
Do I need a Doctor’s Referral?
There is no Doctor’s referral needed to visit a registered massage therapist.
Do you accept ICBC claims?
We accept ICBC claims. As of April 2019, patients are pre-approved for 12 treatments within 12 weeks. Please have claim number, date of accident and pertinent information available.

Is tipping required?
No, tipping is not required as we are health care professionals. Your referral is greatly appreciated.
